Subject: Request for Correction of Excess Electricity Bill and Disconnection of Supply

Sir,

I respectfully submit that I am an electricity consumer under your jurisdiction. Due to official work, I have been staying outside my residence for a long period, and at present no electricity is being used at my house. However, despite non-usage, an electricity bill of approximately ₹700 is being issued every month.

It may kindly be noted that earlier, after submitting applications, the bills were corrected and I duly paid the revised amount. At present, excess billing has again been noticed, and I request your kind intervention for necessary correction.

I would also like to inform you that earlier my electric supply line was connected to a nearby electric pole. At present, due to earth-cutting and house construction by the neighboring residents, the pole no longer exists at that location, and my electric wire has been disconnected and is lying open from the Electric Pole.

Under these circumstances, I kindly request you either to temporarily stop the electricity connection in my name or to permanently disconnect the supply. Whenever required in future, I shall apply afresh for a lawful electricity connection.

I therefore humbly request you to consider the above facts and take necessary action at your earliest convenience.
